The Fate of Olives is part family memoir and part Italian travelogue that uses poetry and prose to explore the Italian landscape, Calabrian traditions, family, and lost and found connections.

The Fate of Olives is the launchpad for an up-and-coming film by libre verité filmmaker Jeff McKay called Small Gestures. It’s set to be released in early 2021.
